In my previous units, I have made a significant amount of progress and achievements. My first task was to analyse a famous England-based street artist called Banksy and produce an art piece expressing my own message through Banksy’s style. I made my artwork comedic however also professional to convey the message and attract more audience. By designing and finishing the art piece, I have learned a lot of valuable skills in areas such as editing, presenting and attracting an audience. In another task, had to analyse a well-known poster called Hope and recreate it. It was made by Shepard Fairey and used in the 2008 U.S presidential election to get Barack Obama more supporters. From this task, I also learned a lot of new knowledge and understanding about editing in Photoshop as I was able to work using with Filters, Channel Mixer and Posterizing an image. However, I believe that the photoshop skills I have gained could only be used for the style of artwork I had to represent. This concludes that these skills may not necessarily be relevant to this project as the artwork may not have the same style or even serve the same purpose. In other units, I also gained a lot of knowledge as I had to work using Adobe Illustrator and learned a lot of skills while using it. I believe I have acquired the most skills and understanding in editing and filming while making a documentary about fashion stereotypes and a short horror film for one of the units. I was very engaged in making them, therefore, I believe I put in the most effort and learned a lot. I also have gained a lot of knowledge and skills surrounding audio as audio was very important in my short horror film. Although these skills I developed were highly useful at the time and necessary to the project they would not have any relevance to this project as I will not be carrying out any filming meaning I may have to learn new skills and develop them which would be useful in the long term however, it may slow me down throughout the process of this project such as when creating my artwork as I will need to find new techniques meaning production may take longer.
For my project, I have to choose a quote and decide what I want to produce surrounding the topic related to the chosen quote. I have chosen this quote by John Locke "To love truth for truth’s sake is the principal part of human perfection in this world, and the seed-plot of all other virtues". I have analysed the quote and the sentence "To love truth for truth’s sake is the principal part of human perfection" stood out the most. I believe this stood out to me as I am interested in a topic of Conspiracy theories which is all about people trying to find out the truth about unexplained events even if the conspiracy is nonexistent, unnecessary and there are more probable explanations. A lot of Conspiracy theories are also about the belief that some secret influential organization or an agenda is responsible for something unexplained. Conspiracy theories embody three principles: nothing happens by accident, nothing is as it seems, and everything is connected. People including myself find conspiracy theories interesting as our brains interpret a random collection of events and attempts to seek out a thread that holds them all together. To our minds, a conspiracy theory is preferable and more comprehensible than a series of unconnected occurrences. The fear of the unknown causes our brains to provide answers and generate comfort. Some people find conspiracy theories demented however there has been a number of cases where the crazy conspiracy theory has turned out to actually be true. I am deeply interested in topics of the unknown which led me to choose conspiracy theories as the topic I will be focusing on in my Final Major Project. As for the outcomes I have chosen to design some digital and physical art pieces exploring and showing off the chosen conspiracy theories. For the physical print, I will be designing and printing out a catalog which will include some of the digital pieces I will design. I decided to also create a physical copy as physical art often has a different impact on people. While viewing the physical catalog or the physical artworks, the audience can discuss the content of the art pieces, and assess how they feel about the images. This will also work well as conspiracy theories are controversial which makes people talk and discuss them more. This will also work as the audience will want to find out and know what is true and what isn't. By creating these art pieces I am hoping to start a conversation between the people that do believe in conspiracy theories and the people that are skeptical and do not. My primary target audience is ideally people within the demographic group E (unemployed, students, casual workers), I believe people in this group would be the ages of 16 to 25 as these people would have more free time to read and investigate this subject which would create an interest in mysteries and conspiracy theories. Although I believe having a physical catalog works well I have come to the conclusion that a digital catalog may have been a more effective alternative this is because in the modern day everything is done digitally which indicates that creating a digital catalog may be more effective especially when it comes to reaching my target audience.
One way I will reflect on my work is to get feedback from my peers and my teachers and adapt it to my ongoing work to improve it as much as I can. By getting feedback on my work I can see what I have done right and what parts and areas of my work I can improve on. I can also then compare my work against my peers’ work to see what they have done well and what I can improve on. I will also evaluate my work by planning ahead, making a schedule and a list of questions I need to think about while working on my artwork like what am I trying to show by making that piece of work or What message it conveys. I will record any changes and improvements to my work and my decision-making on my Wix website in the production and reflection tabs as my work progresses.
My topic is about humans trying to find the truth even if it might result in them rejecting a standard explanation therefore I am focusing on Conspiracy Theories. A conspiracy theory is a belief that some secret but influential and powerful organisation or an agenda is responsible for an unexplained event.

What practical or technical problems do you expect to encounter?
One of the technical problems I might face is that the WIX website might crash while I am working on my FMP as It often does. As a result, this puts me in a portion where I can lose progress and become frustrated
Another technical problem is that the software such as Adobe Photoshop I will be using to design all my artwork might crash as well. This can overall, slow down my production process as well as make it more challenging to complete and effective piece of work
Another problem I could run into is choosing the right typography and fonts as I want the typography to suit the theme and concept of my artworks. I need to make sure I not only look at the text but what it will look like combined with everything else in the design. Overall, using the wrong typography can result in making my work less effective and impactful
A problem I could also run into is changing my mind about the topic or outcomes I want to do in the middle of producing the FMP. This could be the result of running out of ideas and being frustrated due to programs not running smoothly as I could become demotivated overall
Another problem I could expect to encounter is being tempted to do less work over the Easter holiday and procrastinating. As a result, this may put me behind my plan which would result in me having to rush in order to complete my task. This may result in my finished project not meeting the standards I have set for myself.

A problem I could face is while writing up the bibliography I may struggle to keep track of all the correct links to the websites, I have used throughout the FMP which would result in me not providing the correct evidence for the websites I use as well as I may struggle to find the websites later on
One of the practical problems I will run into is getting my catalog printed as I do not know how to combine all artworks into a book and print it out yet. This may also indicate that I will require to save up some money in order to print out a good quality catalog to represent my work
I could also run into a problem of wanting to improve and change the look and the layout of my website. This could lead to some of my pages being different styles or in different colours which would result in having poor and disorganised presentation throughout
Another problem I could run into is spending way too much time designing and making for my production tab and losing time to work on other pages such as the research tab which could result in me producing work at a lower standard
Another problem I could run into is people arguing and getting into heated and rather aggressive conversations due to opinions on the conspiracy theories differing from others. This might be a problem as most of the time conspiracy theories are not based on evidence and would, as a result, create an unconstructive response
How do you plan to overcome/solve these problems?
To solve and overcome this problem I will occasionally save my work to make sure I do not lose a noticeable amount of progress every time. This will ensure I would not lose work and become demotivated due to fustration

Using the websites, www.Dafont.com and www.fonts.com, I will be browsing between the different fonts and choose a couple of the ones I believe would suit the theme of conspiracy theories in the artworks and experiment with them to see which one works the best with the design of the art piece as well as create impact
To solve this problem, I made sure I picked the topic I am actually interested in, so I do not get bored of it while working on it and decide to change it. I also believe doing constant research and finding new evidence will allow me to stay engaged about the topic and further encourage e to carry on
To solve this problem and ensure I do not fall behind over the holidays. I will create an effective schedule which would allow me to take a break over the holiday as well as rest as this is important in ensuring I do not lose focus or motivation as well as ensure I produce enough amount of work to ensure I do not fall behind and do not need rush towards the end.
I can easily solve this problem by making note of the website’s link on a newly created word document every time I use a different website or a video for research or to explain my production. This will allow me to record the correct resources I used as well as save me a lot of time as I will not need to search for the links and other resources I used. I will also be able to refer back to the correct websites if I feel I need more research from there.
I will overcome this problem by doing some research on book printing online and I could also always ask the teachers or peers if they have an idea of how I could produce a physical print. In the meantime, I will ensure I am able to obtain the appropriate amount of money just in case it is necessary so this issue does not trouble me once I determine how I will print out my catalog.
To overcome this problem, I will have to pay close attention to the layout, the colours and the font used throughout all the pages in my website. I will also double check to make sure that the style of my pages is cohesive as well as that I select the appropriate colours from the very beginning of my project and ensure I keep the layout simple and professional
To solve this I will need to be able to save time and follow my created plan and my timetable to see how much time I have to work on different pages which would ensure that if I do require to make a few changes I will have enough time to do so which would ensure I can manage my time as well as keep my work organised
I will solve this by being neutral and only asking people for their thoughts and opinions not evidence. I will also calm the audience down by making them discuss their opinions without any arguments. In addition, if this situation still occurs I can ensure to avoid a huge outbreak of arguments by deleting those comments on Instagram to ensure others do not get involved and join in making the situation worse
After receiving some feedback from my supervisor and my peers, I reflected and realised what I need to do move forward with my work and achieve a higher grade. As I was mainly focusing on the topic of conspiracy theories and why people believe in them in my research tab, my other tabs had to be improved as I focused on them less. What I had to do next was improving my context tab. I had to use critical and contextual perspectives to initiate a creative media project proposal. I was done with writing up my rationale, project concept, evaluation and the timetable, all I had to do was put it all up on the context page. To move forward I also had to start producing my outcomes. I first wanted to make a cover for the catalog I am designing therefore I started experimenting with a number of different designs, titles and typography for the cover. After finishing the final design of the cover, I decided to do a bit more research on my wider topic. Another way to achieve a higher grade was to conduct technical research on the looks and feels of different outcomes produced by other artists that inspire me and influence my work. I have yet to do that. So far I believe some parts of the project have been going according to plan however, I acknowledge that I have had some issues such as not being able to produce as much content as I would have desired due to some personal issues at home as well as waiting to get my feedback which was prolonged due to me falling ill and not being able to attend college where I would be able to get constructive feedback from my peers and supervisors. I have not produced as much work as I planned earlier in the weeks however, I pushed myself to do as much work as possible and motivated myself to do as much as I could do. To ensure I did was still able to produce work to a good standard I referred Google classrooms to ensure I am on track and following what is set to do. Taking into consideration how much work I have completed to far and how many improvements I have made I believe I am able to finish my work to a great standard as long as I ensure I maintain focus, determination and find ways to continuously motivate myself.
Once the Final Major Project was coming to the first deadline, which was the start of the end of the project I was rather pleased with how my WIX page was turning out as I believe it was up to the date as well as up to the standard I desired. I believe I managed to complete and get my first two outcomes I had planned since the start of this project done. Overall, I am highly satisfied of what I have achieved when it comes designing and making my digital art pieces as well as he physical copy of the catalog. I decided to also gathered some feedback from some of my class members who also admired the work I have achieved. However, some of my peers did mention that I could have added my own point of view on each topic I have explored in the research tab. I believe that this feedback was relevant and that I could have included this to show further knowledge and understanding however, at the same time I felt that this was a bit unnecessary as I wanted to mainly focus and explore the most important beliefs and theories as I believe this was critical in developing better points and opinions which were stronger and more valid. Furthermore, I made sure I checked what my supervisors had to say and the feedback they would give me. My supervisors expressed that I needed to make another outcome to be more diverse as well as create different type of outcome. Taking into consideration what my supervisor expressed I decided to create an Instagram page where I would publish my artworks and additional typographical designs. I chose to create and Instagram page as I believe It would perfectly work as another outcome as it would allow people to connect with anyone in order to learn and share their thoughts which would enable a two-way conversation. The digital aspect of this outcome allows my project to be easily accessible and portable where ever the individuals are. This would make it ore efficient for those curious about the topic as well as allow them to share it with their friends and family with just a few clicks. The aspect of hashtags on the page would also allow my project and page to gain more recognition and become more noticeable to my target audience as well as to any other curious individuals. However, on the other hand some individuals would not necessarily always have internet access making it debatable how accessible my work will truly be. Furthermore, I believe that in order to gain enough recognition in order to attract a larger group of people would take a bit longer as smaller pages with fewer follows and likes are less likely to gain a lot of recognition at first. Analysing this choice further I have come to a decision that it would actually be very useful as well as helpful to create an extra outcome as it would further allow me to start a conversation on social media concerning multiple conspiracy theories with a larger audience.
